Hi, I’m Jordan Cozens, founder of The Yoni Specialist. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, I moved to New York City in 2016 at the age of 18 with big dreams and a passion for empowering people to feel their best.

My career began as a makeup artist in the editorial world, where I learned the art of enhancing natural beauty. Later, my journey led me to the Aveda Institute on Spring Street, where I earned my esthetician license and discovered a deeper purpose in skin care and wellness. After starting my career in hair removal, I quickly noticed two gaps: the education and care provided to both clients and professionals in the industry. It seemed that real connection, understanding, and proper education were missing. I knew I wanted to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and cared for, and where the people serving them are equally supported and knowledgeable.

Growing up in a warm, culturally diverse environment taught me the importance of human connection and respect for all backgrounds. That perspective, along with my passion for helping others feel confident, inspired me to create The Yoni Specialist—a place that goes beyond the basics of skin care. My mission is to empower, educate, and provide an exceptional, personalized experience for every client who walks through our doors. With six years in the sugaring industry and four years running my own establishment, I’m proud to offer a space that brings genuine care, knowledge, and community to everyone we serve.
